Writing-Platform-LogoOn November 4th, The Writing Platform is hosting a fair and conference for writers at Rich Mix in London. It’s the second time the event has run and we’re really excited that Kobo Writing Life is supporting it.

The event offers the opportunity to debate the hot topics for writers in the digital age as well as the chance to meet a range of organisations that provide support and practical advice to writers on all aspects of writing and publishing. It’s also a fantastic way to meet other writers and swap stories!

Speakers at this year’s event include writers Philip Hensher and Polly Courtney, artist Nick Makoha and journalist Minna Salami who will be taking part in panel discussions alongside representatives from the Greene and Heaton literary agency, Arts Council England, Kobo Writing Life and more.

Visitors to the event will be able to meet Diego Marano, UK Manager of Kobo Writing Life, who will be on-hand throughout the day to answer questions and offer advice. Diego is also running an open seminar on ‘The Self-Publishing Journey in the Digital Market’ at 12.45 – a must for any writer embarking on the self-publishing journey.

Other exhibitors include: The Alliance of Independent Authors, the Authors’ Licensing and Collecting Society, Arts Council England, CompletelyNovel, Kobo Writing Life, Spread the Word, The Literary Platform, Visual Verse and Words of Colour.

Kobo Writing Life is offering two writers free tickets to the event! Enter here.
