Cheryl Bradshaw is a New York Times and 11-time USA Today bestselling author writing in multiple genres, including mystery, thriller, romantic suspense, supernatural suspense, and women’s fiction. She is a Shamus Award finalist for best private eye novel of the year, an eFestival of Words winner for best thriller, and has published over fifty books since 2011.
Raised in Southern California, Cheryl now lives in tropical Cairns, Australia, hiking in the rainforest, and diving in the Great Barrier Reef. When she’s not writing, she loves to jet set to new countries she’s never been to before, play with her sausage dog, Luka, and eat her weight in cheese.

Skyla Dawn Cameron has been writing approximately forever.
Her early storytelling days were spent acting out strange horror/fairy tales with the help of her many dolls, and little has changed except that she now keeps those stories on paper. She signed her first book contract at age twenty-one for River, a unique werewolf tale, which was released to critical and reader praise alike and won her the 2007 EPPIE Award for Best Fantasy. She now has multiple series on the go to keep her busy.
In the name of research, she has planned—but not taken—extensive trips all over the world, learned to pick locks, watched dozens of hours of surgeries, and has undergone private investigator training. Her internet search terms have likely put her on numerous government watchlists, but she swears she is not actively trying to murder anyone other than her characters. Really.
Skyla is a fifth-generation crazy cat lady who lives in southern Ontario, where she writes a lot of books, works as a freelance designer, embroiders swear words onto fabric, and plays video games. Her website is skyladawncameron.com and she is chronically online—you’ll find regular updates (and cat photos). She is also active at Patreon, where she offers exclusive stories and essays, and runs weekly write-ins at her Discord server.

Kel Carpenter is a master of werdz. When she’s not reading or writing, she’s traveling the world, lovingly pestering her editor, and spending time with her family. She is always on the search for good tacos and the best pizza. She resides in Maryland and desperately tries to avoid the traffic.

I am A.L. Knorr, USA Today bestselling author and award-winning fantasy writer. My full name is Abby-Lynn, but that was too long to slap on a book cover. I am Abby or even Abs to friends and family. I’m Canadian but I live on the Mediterranean coast with my husband, a talented chef—which is handy because I struggle with toast. Since leaving Canada I’ve traded in my snowboard and mountain bike for bottles of sunscreen and a snorkel. Why not hang out where the mermaids are? They love the Mediterranean too. My first six books, The Elemental Origins series, were partly written during time spent in Italy and the UK. I love travelling! You can read about some of my exploits in Journal: News & Updates.

Laura is Kobo Writing Life’s Author Engagement Manager. In her role on the KWL team, she works closely with indie authors to help them reach new readers on Kobo. She has a B.A. in English from York University and a post-grad certificate in book, magazine and electronic publishing from Centennial College. When she’s off the clock, you can find her curled up with a romance book or binge-watching a new reality show.
