Frankie Love writes filthy-sweet stories about bad boys and mountain men.
She is ridiculously in love with her own bearded hottie, believes in love-at-first-sight, and happily-ever-afters. She also believes in the power of a quickie.

Please tell us more about your “filthy-sweet” romances. Why should we listen to them?
Filthy-sweet romances give all the feels! While there may be some angst as the couple finds their happily-ever-after, there is also a lot of sweetness. I like to think of it as Hallmark with heat!
What drew you to Bad Boys and Mountain Men? When did you know these were the romance themes you wanted to write?
I live in the Pacific Northwest and see lots of bearded burly dudes! I was inspired! And the bad boys … well, there is something about the heroine winning over the heart of a man who couldn’t be tamed by anyone else!
Could you please tell us about your career as an author? What first drew you to writing?
I began writing romance because I fell in love with the genre. Life is hard; it feels like a real gift to offer the world something that feels good!
We’d love to hear about your writing process. Please elaborate!
I write while my kids are at school. I usually write from 11am to 4pm. That seems to be my sweet spot! I love to dictate my stories as well, literally speaking the characters into life!
Where is your favourite place to write?
I live on the water a ferry ride from Seattle. I look out my office window and see the beautiful Dyes Inlet. Many days seals are out playing, it is so relaxing and inspiring. I feel like the luckiest girl!
Describe your writing style in five words or less.
Funny, Flirtatious, Fast-paced, Forever-kind-of-love, and Filthy!
Any advice for emerging writers?
Follow your bliss. Write stories you would want to read. And don’t be shy, fortune favors the brave.
What do you do when you experience writer’s block or reader’s block?
I go to a hot yoga class, bake something yummy, or lately, do a paint by number! Creativity and keeping a clear head are essential parts of my daily life.
What has been the most exciting part of having your novels transformed into audiobooks?
I love hearing the stories in audio; they truly come to life! My grandmother was unable to read late in life, and audiobooks were a saving grace for her. I love the idea of all people having access to my romance novels. And yes, my grandma did listen to mine! LOL. #NoShame!
