Pride month is coming to a close, but you can keep the pride month spirit alive with these three KWL authors:

Clare Lydon

Clare writes contemporary lesbian romances. Her London Romance series follows the antics of women who live in London as they navigate love, work, families, and nights out. They’re perfectly bingeable stories that will leave you laughing. The fourth book is the London Romance series (The London Of Us) is out on June 27, 2018. Clare also hosts The Lesbian Book Club podcast, where she interviews different authors who write books with lesbian characters.

Holly Evans

Holly Evans writes LGBT+ Urban Fantasy: her Ink Born series features exclusively gay, bi, and asexual characters. Holly was also featured on the KWL blog in March in the post LGBT+ Voices in Fiction, where she talked more about why she writes books with predominantly LGBT+ people.

Jea Hawkins/Lucy True

Jea Hawkins writes contemporary lesbian romances: under her pen name, Lucy True, she writes paranormal romance and urban fantasy. If she’s writing as Lucy or Jea, the one thing her books have in common is that they feature strong and compelling women.

Elizabeth is KWL’s intern and newest hire. She studied Rhetoric and Professional Writing at the University of Waterloo and she enjoys reading fiction with heavily feminist themes. Her favourite part of the job is helping authors. She can lick her elbow and she has a note on her computer with everyone’s star signs at Kobo.
