Cruising Writers went to France for the first time, for an in-land retreat at Château Les Carrasses in Languedoc region. For one whole week, a crew of 14 writers relentlessly worked on their writing, polishing and fine-tuning their pages with the help of Margie Lawson, wizard of words.

Kobo Writing Life was delighted to be part of the program for the last two days with workshops and sessions dedicated to self-publishing. KWL European Manager Camille Mofidi shared best practices for authors to make the most out of their publishing journey on Kobo. In a joint talk with Athina Papa, Founder of Language+ Literary Translations, Camille gave insight about European markets and translations, stressing the importance of setting a publication and promotion plan that would fit the specificities of each market.
