Today at the London Book Fair, Kobo, Curtis Brown Creative, and Jeffrey Archer himself announced the three finalists in the Jeffrey Archer Short Story Challenge:
- Patsy Collins – “Out for Revenge”
- Timothy Reynolds – “Temper Temper”
- Robert Maslen – “Voices”
These three talented writers will now submit their 3000-word excerpts from their novels-in-process, and Curtis Brown Creative will select one of them to receive free enrolment in their online novel-writing course.
Congratulations to our three finalists!
Don’t forget you can download a free copy of the collected semi-finalist stories here!
Oh my word! Congratulations Patsy! That is so well done!
Thanks, Lynne!
That’s amazing, Patsy. Hope you win.
This is just such fabulous news, Patsy! Huge congratulations!
Thank you, Linda!

Oh Patsy, tell Gary to get ready for another of those video’s with your happy dance. Fingers crossed for you. Well done.
Just spent ten minutes trying to download the book in point – no luck. Won’t be trying anymore.
Sorry to hear that, Revell. Can I ask what goes wrong? What error message do you get, if any? The links appear to be working from this end.
Tried to grab a copy here, says it is in my library but it just does not show up. Did try another free book and that worked just fine. Shame.
Other than that congrats to those finalists, guess I didn’t make the final 20 as I didn’t hear a thing, but that’s OK I am not really suicidal, no I’m not,… really i am not!!
Good luck to the final three, wish you well.
Ian.
Is the email address you’re using here the same one you’ve used to register with Kobo? We can take a look and see if we can figure this out.
Hi, yes it is and thank you in advance if you can work it out for me.
